Terms & Conditions
BROTZEIT GERMAN BIER BAR & RESTAURANT Loyalty Rewards Programme (referred to as “the Programme”) is owned and operated by Brotzeit Malaysia Sdn Bhd (referred to as “the Manager”).
Purchases made at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant entitles its members (referrend to as the “Member”) to earn loyalty reward points (“Loyalty Points”) in accordance with these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). Loyalty Points are non-transferrable and non-assignable, must be redeemed against purchases and have no cash value.
It doesn’t cost anything to become a Programe Member but you must be at least 18 years of age. When you become a member of the Programme, you agree to the Terms & Conditions of the Programme. The Manager may alter these terms from time to time. If they are changes that affect you, you will be duly informed.
To become a member of the Programme, you can sign up by providing your mobile number to the cashier, station captain manager on duty, upon payment of receipt or alternatively, register at www.zap.com.my prior to visiting any of our branches. Once signed up, you can start earning your Loyalty Points, immediately.
LOYALTY CARD MEMBERS
All personal details and profile information given to the Manager must be accurate and not misleading. It is up to individual members to update their information should it change and to ensure that all personal details are up to date at all times. Brotzeit. The Manager will not be held responsible for any dicrepancies should in accurate contact details be provided at the point of signing up.
The Manager may terminate a Member’s account in the Programme at any time with reasonable cause. Among other reasons, termination may occur if the Terms are not complied with, or the Programme privileges are abused or if the Programme ceases to operate.
The Programme is cardless and is mobile number based. Simply provide your mobile number upon payment to earn and redeem points.
EARNING LOYALTY POINTS
Every time a Member dines or drinks at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant, points can be earned on those purchases. Simply input your mobile number upon payment into our dedicated loyalty tablets and earn. It’s that simple!
Programme members earn up to 10% of their total spend at the restaurant excluding 6% gst. GST payment is not calculated in the total spend amount. For example, if the total bill amount is RM 177.00 the gst portion is RM 10.02, therefore the amount entitled to points would be RM 166.98. 10% of this will be RM 12.69 (rounded up to RM16.70) . The Manager reserves the right to amend the rate of 10% without prior notice.
A record of all Loyalty Rewards Points earned will be kept in the member’s account maintained in the Manager’s database which you will be updated on every time you earn or redeem points via SMS . Alternately, you may log in to your account at www.zap.com.my to check your point balance. Loyalty Points cannot be earned on purchases paid for by the redemption of existing Loyalty Points or purchases of specials, promotions or other discounted items. Loyalty Points cannot be credited to a Member’s account in arrears, and must be recorded at the time of the purchase.
Any alleged inconsistencies in a Member’s account should be reported to the Manager, who will do their best to rectify the situation. In the case of any dispute, the decision of the Manager is final and binding.
REDEEMING LOYALTY POINTS
Redemptions of Loyalty Reward Points must be for the full Ringgit (MYR) amount of any transaction – no partial redemption will be entertained. For example, if the Member has 50 points and Programme Members should inform staff at Brotzeit Bier Bar & Restaurant of their intention to pay for a purchase by redemption points before completing payment for the purchase.
Birthday points will be credited only if your date of birth is provided. These points are also not transferable not redeemable for cash.
POINTS EXPIRY & DEDUCTIONS
If Loyalty Reward Points are added to a Programme Member’s account in error or fraudulently, the Manager may deduct those points. Loyalty Rewards Points will automatically expire after 12 months if a Programme member’s card has not been active during that time. Once expired, they will be deducted from the member’s account balance. A M
ember may also be removed from the system after 12 months of inactivity, along with any remaining points balance at the time of cancellation.
USE OF THIRD PARTY LOYALTY PROGRAMMES
Double collection of points is not permitted. For example, if members have a Sunway Pals Card as well as a Brotzeit Loyalty rewards card, the member must make a choice as to which card the would like to collect the points on.
However, for redemption, the member is allowed to used points from other loyalty programmes to pay for the bill.
Points will only be awarded to the nett bill amount paid.
The Programme is designed to respect it’s Members’ privacy and has policies in place with respect to using data collected from members. On registration each Member agrees that the information they have provided can be used by the Manager to deliver information related to the improvement of services at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant, the promotion the Programme, or other promotions relating to Brotzeit German Bar & Restaurant.
The Manager will not sell or pass on a member’s information to any other company, business or other organisation (unless required to by law). The system may also collect non-personalised information on any website visits. This information includes internet service provider, the time and length of visits, the pages looked at on the websites, and the method by which the site is visited. This information is used only to measure site activity, market research and to develop ideas for improving the websites and loyalty programmes in question.
